"The first is not the spiritual, but the natural, then the spiritual." 1 Co. 15:46 (DLT)
What comes first? Spiritual people or fleshly people? The flesh person comes first. What comes next is the Spirit Person. This process is seen in nature. First the seed, then the flower. First the grub, then the bug. First death, then life. First Adam then the perfect Adam. First night and then light.
Through our senses we begin as flesh conscious people. After innumerable processes we die to trying to fix the flesh. We rest, by faith, in the hope for the expression of the spirit person we are meant to be. Once we have been clothed, by faith, with immortality, we know Jesus Christ as Creator.
The Spirit Person, Jesus Christ of Nazareth, took on flesh and blood, and through death and resurrection transformed corruption to Life in Christ Jesus for those who trust it is true. Many believe it is true. Few believe it is finished. We who believe do not see all things completed as promised, but our sight is getting better the closer we come to His desired end. In our hearts it is finished.
"All have been subjected under His feet. Nothing rebellious is left. But now we do not yet see all things in subjection to Him." (Heb 2:8 DLT)
The Spiritual Law of reclaiming all earth for Spirit Expression is now at work, and has overcome the law of sin and death. Because we get to live in, co-express, and endure this process, we have the ability to proclaim what we witness. We are those who not only see, proclaim, witness, and receive this transformation, but we are also bound, just by living this Truth, to spark the myriad interactions of Love that not only began the good work, but will complete the same in others.
So, though our flesh is perishing, we have become eternal. We have a fleshly knowing, but this is not the Eternal. The Eternal is the New Man, an eternal spirit-Spirit-soul of knowing His knowing, wanting His wanting, doing His doing, loving His Love. That type of 'soul' living we can live while in this decaying body.
We are the ability to see what He is doing. We are one and the same with the doing, through this seeing.
Insofar as we remain with eyes fixed on Him in Whom we believe, we see, behold, witness, and proclaim that which we see, God. He is not an all pervasive force, but the Eternal, Intelligent, Word of All. He is the inner Life lived out.
This One is the Spiritual seeing, praising, thanking, and embracing that which the Father is doing. This is the Law of the Spirit of Life in Christ Jesus, always seeing what the Father is doing and joining in the process by our assent to His control of all that precedes, and all that will follow.
If you want eternal living you must be transformed by His death executed on you in Christ Jesus. Embrace His (your) resurrection. As you receive Holy Spirit, you are literally born of a different gene pool. You now have eyes to see and ears to hear and a heart to follow.
