Consider Your Union With Christ:
Think of a Babushka doll. Let the tiniest doll represent the Holy Spirit. Place it into the next doll, which represents Jesus. Place that doll in the next, which represents you. Take you and place it into the next doll, which surprisingly represents Christ’s resurrected body. Now, take Jesus’s body and put it in Father God. All are one yet distinct. That is union.
Holy Spirit->Jesus->You->Christ’s body->Father God
Holy Spirit->Jesus->You->Christ’s body->Father God
Agent:“Sanctify them in the truth; Your word is truth.” — (John 17:17, emphasis mine NASB95)

Goal:“I do not ask on behalf of these alone, but for those also who believe in Me through their word; that they may all be one; even as You, Father, are in Me and I in You, that they also may be in Us, so that the world may believe that You sent Me.” — (John 17:20–21, emphasis mine NASB95)
|
Action:“O righteous Father, although the world has not known You, yet I have known You; and these have known that You sent Me; and I have made Your name known to them, and will make it known, so that the love with which You loved Me may be in them, and I in them.” — (John 17:25-26, emphasis mine NASB95)

Conclusion:This Christian story is God’s story and His alone. We are invited to see and be joined to what He is doing from start to finish. To ‘live complete’ is to rest in His Person, will, and abilities to initiate every beginning and complete every end.
