Consider This Comparison: 

God’s Love for you is boundless, so much so that He sacrificed Himself for you to bask in His Love.

God is the embodiment of Love, first in the body of Jesus Christ and now in us. Those trusting in His Person and His abilities are able to accomplish His working in and through us through love.

“Now to Him who is able to do far more abundantly beyond all that we ask or think, according to God’s abilities at work within us.” — (Ephesians 3:20, DLC)

Love defined
God loving others at your expense
or being  a self-for-others.

Agent:

“And He put all under His feet, and gave Him to be the head over all the called out ones, which is His body, the fullness of the One filling the all in all.” — (Ephesians 1:22-23, DLC)

Goal:

“When everything is subjected to Him, then the Son Himself will also be subjected to the One who subjected all things to Him, so that God may be all in all.” — (1 Corinthians 15:28, DLC)

Conclusion:

God’s plan is to join everything to Himself so He can be the All in all. We who trust Him are already reconciled to this truth and are commissioned to inform the rest that they can submit to God’s Love.
