The Door is Christ on His Cross

The Christian faith at it truest, is the faith of Christ, not only to accomplish what we could not do, but to proclaim to each heart what He has done and is doing. At the cross we find the door to the City of God. He is both the Way to the door and the Door. He is of course what lies beyond the Door but first we come to the Door.

Everyone trying to avoid the Door is trying to climb over the wall or ignore it altogether. These are thieves and robbers.

We must enter alone.

We enter with humility and repentance or not at all.
