When we reject Jesus, we reject Love personified. But how do we reject Love? We reject our God given opportunities to love.
Matthew 25: 44 “Then they themselves also will answer, ‘Lord, when did we see You hungry, or thirsty, or a stranger, or naked, or sick, or in prison, and did not take care of You?’ 45 “Then He will answer them, ‘Truly I say to you, to the extent that you did not do it to one of the least of these, you did not do it to Me.’ When we have practiced rejecting a while we get really good at it. We even reject our very reason for living. We not only reject one another but ourselves. No wonder it is so easy to reject God as love when we practice judgment, rejection...even hate.
Reject not, least ye be rejected with the rejection you have rejected.
Love not, and you will not be able to receive love. OUCH! That hurt.
How about this? Love the lover of your soul and with that ocean of love, love one another. Not an original commandment but it works both now and for eternity. Oddly enough the opposite is true too for eternity also. Reject and you are rejected by those who would love you.
