Trying to be like God is sin.
The First Sin |
Adam and Eve, in trying to be like God, by knowing good and evil became the children of Satan. We were not influenced by him but took on his thoughts about himself. He lies about God. When he says God hates him his children think God hates them. When he thinks God is dead, his children think God is dead. And so it goes. He thinking himself independent and having the ability to do either good or evil is exactly what you think you are thinking. Oops! These are his thoughts pounding in your heart and head.

The Last Sin |
The last sin is like the first. It is where we have the opportunity to say to the God at the tree of Calvary - ' Jesus, You are not enough! I must trust in myself! It is up to me.'
