Jesus Christ’s pierced hands. Trusting God’s grace, His Person in this place. Son of God, the Savior, On the cross, in our favor. Atonement of love, Our souls His glove. A role model - NOT! Selflessly giving us His lot. Compassion's radiant light, Illuminating our darkest night. In history, no name so dear, Whispered prayers, vanquished fear. The moral One, the True, Healing hearts bound in blue. His death paints your story, At home in love and glory. Echoes in our hearts, Christ gifted His parts. God tends to me, guiding the way. I lack nothing; in His grace, I confide, Resting in green pastures, where shadows hide. Beside tranquil waters, my soul is restored, Through urban chaos or meadows adored. He leads me on pathways clear, A steady guide, no whispers of fear. Even in the concrete valleys of despair, I'll not falter, for God's tender care. A table is set amidst the city's hum, Goodness and mercy are my daily sum. A psalm of life's journey, wisdom's battles won. Tears fall like gentle rain, a lament for hearts astray, Where reason and love falter amidst disarray. Insanity eclipses, a shadow on the soul, A yearning for unity, yet divisions take their toll. Minority ruling, disenfranchising the vast, Forcing children to choose, their identities cast. A symphony of sadness is cast like stones, Self-hate projected, discord sown. Hope, a fragile ember, flickers in the dark, As the death march persists, where shadows hark. In youth, I couldn't halt the relentless stride, Nor now, in aged wisdom, where strength hides. Yet, in this saddening journey, a solace deep and wide, For God reigns supreme, every knee shall bow in stride. Every knee, not one, but all shall bow, In allegiance to Christ, a solemn vow. The Father, Son, and Spirit declare you clean, not a mere claim. Jesus stepping into the sacred inner sanctum. Faith blossoms, realizing He is life’s grand spectrum. No facade or religious charades; just rest in this actuality. Live with minds in sync with the Spirit as vitality. No worldly dues, to fate unbent. Through epochs vast, the heart's expanse, A blanket statement, life's sweet dance. Alive, in hues of passion's glow, Love, the Person, does bestow.
