In the realm where hate may dwell, Trust shattered that unholy spell. And releases a conquering tide, In Christ, we confide. Dark whispers weave their bitter thread, But love's radiance dispels dread. In Christ, the antidote to hate, Trust blooms, sealing our fate. Hate's venom seeks to consume, Yet love's flame can't be entombed. Holy Spirit's presence, hate's demise, Christ's love is the eternal prize. On the trek of time, a figure stands,
Jesus Christ’s pierced hands. Trusting God’s grace, His Person in this place. Son of God, the Savior, On the cross, in our favor. Atonement of love, Our souls His glove. A role model - NOT! Selflessly giving us His lot. Compassion's radiant light, Illuminating our darkest night. In history, no name so dear, Whispered prayers, vanquished fear. The moral One, the True, Healing hearts bound in blue. His death paints your story, At home in love and glory. Echoes in our hearts, Christ gifted His parts. In the city's heartbeat or where the fields sway,
God tends to me, guiding the way. I lack nothing; in His grace, I confide, Resting in green pastures, where shadows hide. Beside tranquil waters, my soul is restored, Through urban chaos or meadows adored. He leads me on pathways clear, A steady guide, no whispers of fear. Even in the concrete valleys of despair, I'll not falter, for God's tender care. A table is set amidst the city's hum, Goodness and mercy are my daily sum. In the quiet moments when the sun descends, I find solace, in God, my friend. No daunting darkness, no echoes of dread, For His presence, a comforting thread. In the rhythm of life, where sorrows may blend, God walks with me, a steadfast friend. In the city's embrace or the meadows wide, With God by my side, I peacefully abide. In contemplation, I sit, a tapestry of seventy-six winters spun,
A psalm of life's journey, wisdom's battles won. Tears fall like gentle rain, a lament for hearts astray, Where reason and love falter amidst disarray. Insanity eclipses, a shadow on the soul, A yearning for unity, yet divisions take their toll. Minority ruling, disenfranchising the vast, Forcing children to choose, their identities cast. A symphony of sadness is cast like stones, Self-hate projected, discord sown. Hope, a fragile ember, flickers in the dark, As the death march persists, where shadows hark. In youth, I couldn't halt the relentless stride, Nor now, in aged wisdom, where strength hides. Yet, in this saddening journey, a solace deep and wide, For God reigns supreme, every knee shall bow in stride. Every knee, not one, but all shall bow, In allegiance to Christ, a solemn vow. A timeless truth, to this fleeting breath, A psalm of peace, in the face of death. I.
O ye departed, gone to glory's door, In realms known, as forevermore, With laughter echoing in the heavenly hall, Awaiting us, beckoning to join the thrall. Chorus: Awaiting us, beckoning to join the thrall, In glory's embrace, where joy does enthrall. II. In fields of ethereal splendor, you roam, A celestial abode, your new-found home, With jesters and angels, side by side, In laughter and mirth, your spirits abide. Chorus: In laughter and mirth, your spirits abide, A celestial chorus, forever our guide. III. Oh, how you jest in celestial delight, With humor that transcends the earthly night, A banquet of joy, where tears are unknown, In the grandeur of eternity, love is sown. Chorus: In the grandeur of eternity, love is sown, A cosmic tapestry where laughter's grown. IV. Eagerly you wait at glory's gate, A celestial party, where joy won't abate, With open arms and twinkling eyes, You beckon us forward to the celestial skies. Chorus: You beckon us forward to the celestial skies, Where laughter and love never say goodbyes. V. So here we stand, on this earthly shore, With memories sweet, and hearts that adore, Eager to join your heavenly cheer, To laugh with you, beyond every fear. Chorus: To laugh with you, beyond every fear, In the realm of joy, where eternity's near. In the realm of faith,
they preach the art of forging ties with the Almighty. Yet, Christianity declares that only the Son holds the Father’s secrets tightly. Jesus invites, “Come, be a part of my divine kin.” My yoke’s an easy burden, my load feather-light, a win. “God’s got your back” resonates even in the caverns of your deepest shame. The Father, Son, and Spirit declare you clean, not a mere claim. Jesus stepping into the sacred inner sanctum. Faith blossoms, realizing He is life’s grand spectrum. No facade or religious charades; just rest in this actuality. Live with minds in sync with the Spirit as vitality. Relief envelopes, trust, love, and the Holy Spirit entwine, A cosmic union, a synergy divine. In realms of love, forever spent,
No worldly dues, to fate unbent. Through epochs vast, the heart's expanse, A blanket statement, life's sweet dance. Alive, in hues of passion's glow, Love, the Person, does bestow. In perennial giving, an endless stream, A march entwined with distant dream. As feet traverse the street of time, Watchful eyes in rhythm chime. In the cadence of love's sweet rhyme, We linger, bound, an eternal climb. |
