Peter's reminder: prepare your mind,
With truth, in thoughts, your spirit binds. Escape the chains of worldly strife, Embrace God's grace, His precious life. Our days, like flowers, fade and flee, Yet God's enduring Word we see. Born anew, love pure and clear, In His unchanging love, we have no fear. Set apart, in holiness, we stand, Moved by the Lord's loving hand. In reverent awe, our hearts believe, His grace and mercy, we receive. Like gold, our trust is tried and true, In Christ, we find life renewed. Prophets of old, their hope they shared, In Christ's love, we are ensnared. Live as strangers in this world, In Christ, our lives are unfurled. Trust Him, not works or deeds, Is God's Christ, our spirit feeds. Christ’s love, a beacon bright, Guiding us day and night. In our hearts, His truth resides, With joy and peace as our guides. I've longed for God since I was four,
But on August 10th, 1974, I knew for sure. Years of searching for His love's embrace, From belief to knowing, I found my place. Despite doubts, I stand perfect in Him, Doubting this love, the greatest of sins. A transformation, dramatic and profound, Like losing an arm, but in God, I'm found. In Love's fire, we find our grace,
Fear, shame, and guilt erased. Cleansing flames, our souls mend, In Father's love, our hearts transcend. For those who deny, Love's fire makes them cry. Unquenchable, like hell's cruel blaze, In rejection's pain, they'll spend their days. In love, my soul takes flight,
